Certainly a curious answer.
Other than the number of tracks allowed, I only the the VCA faders and the Wave meters as the main diffs.

Anybody Using Cubase Artist instead of Pro?
One thing I am concerned I'd miss, if I used Artist instead of Pro, is VCA faders.
Does DTouch offer a good way to work around the lack of VCA faders?

Re: This seems like a good aspect ratio for a touch screen
I have thought for a long time that even a 21:9 would be great for DAW use. But even today, if I am not mistaken, the only touchscreen support for that ratio is from Zaagtech, and even then, it is by special request. I don't think PQ Labs even offers a 21:9 option. And for capacitive touchscreens, i...

Re: 3M 32" Touch C3266PW -Any Experience ?
I would suggest looking at the Iiyama, as ~ufo~ mentioned. I would also suggest a PQ Labs G5S IR frame paired with a good LED TV. And, remember you certainly don't need a 40-point touchscreen... you don't even need 10 points. 6 or 4 should be fine -- think of how many faders/knobs can you realistica...

Re: 42 or 46 inch screen with PQ labs for Dtouch
While I have a 42" Zaagtech (instead of a PQ Labs) IR touchframe, I believe my depth of research will allow me to provide some useful input. 1) is it responsive as the dedicated touch screen I already have ? Will it have the same functions in windows 10 and d touch providing it is the correct o...

Re: Apple will release modular Mac Pro, not going to put touch screen on iMac and Mac Pro
I agree with ~ufo~. If "pros" are not interested in touchscreens, than why do the new pro computers from Microsoft have touchscreens! As ~ufo~ said, a touchscreen does not work as THE BEST method for all situations, but neither does a mouse, keyboard or trackpad. Instead, you use any devic...

Re: Supplier for PQ Labs in Central Europe
Yeah, the Cubase/Mac thang is a concern to me -- we are actually considering moving off Pro Tools, and Cubase is a strong candidate, but I don't want to work without DTouch. As an aside... It amazes me that the same people that complain about touchscreens not having "real faders and knobs"...

Re: Supplier for PQ Labs in Central Europe
I know I am late to the party on this discussion, but I must say that the Zaagtech frame really does not present any issues for me. Yes, it may not be as "smooth" in fader movement, per the tests Silvano had me run, my practical experience has been that the movement is more than acceptable...
