Hi.
I'm a novice in Cubase, so bear with me.
I like to use the touch screen to compose.
I'm noticing that when I 'touch in' notes in the midi editor, the VI doesn't play the note.
If I use the mouse, it does.
Have you guys noticed this?
Is there a workaround for this?
Thanks!

Re: switching from PT to Cubase
Because Pro Tools has been plaguing me with bugs and CPU errors ever since PT11 was released. Granted, PT11 was a complete rebuild/redesign of the thing from the ground up, so some growing pains were to be expected. But that was four years ago. I'm PT9-10 I used to record whole bands live together a...

Re: switching from PT to Cubase
I'd like to be able to use the MIDI editor in full screen, but that means part of it is blocked by the DTouch window.
Is there a button or macro to do this?
follow up question: the macro library doesn't show up in the macro editor.
It looks all grey, empty and weird.

Re: switching from PT to Cubase
I made a little flow chart to help visualise my routing. Mind you, this is just a small part of my routing system, but it shows my problem. It might not make sense to you WHY I would do it like this, but trust me that everything is by design. It is possible that I could achieve my desired effects in...

Re: All waves plugins now work in multitouch in Cubase and Studio One on Windows
No, DTouch will not help. It is managed directly by Windows. That's weird and interesting. Did the waves plugins work with single touch on DTouch for PT on Windows before? The Avid plugins work, the Waves ones don't that's strange, right? due to the support of gestures (at least we think that this ...

Re: All waves plugins now work in multitouch in Cubase and Studio One on Windows
I've no problem with the NI ones using (single) touch, they've been working well for me. I just mentioned they don't track your fingers perfectly, when it's a slider. You notice it but it's not a problem. It's just cool that Waves' ones are now multitouch. Probably because of their LV1 system. Nice ...

All waves plugins now work in multitouch in Cubase and Studio One on Windows
Hey Guys, I just discovered this. Even the old ones like renEQ. Pretty cool! Interestingly enough, they don't seem to work in touch on Pro Tools on windows AT ALL. Not even single touch. (I haven't installed DTouch for Pro Tools on my windows machine yet, maybe that will help) N.B. The Native Instru...

I know, no guarantees but it is a clue, and I didn't think of it. So thanks for thinking with me!

Silvano!
Interesting idea, that wrapper. I'll look into that! There may be something out there that can help.
