Re: switching from PT to Cubase
What are your typical sessions like? How many tracks and plugins? Hundreds of tracks and channels but most start out and stay inactive. like I probably said before, the main issue is with tracking at lowest buffer. It needn't take a single plugin to get a showstopper. A little zooming in and out wh...

Re: switching from PT to Cubase
How is 12.8 working out for you so far? Have you used it in macOS? I've been reading about improvements for guys getting CPU (and other) errors. I have. No discernible difference from me on that front. I'm missing the Matrix window and the floating mixer. I'm not sure if I ever have enough tracks v...

Re: switching from PT to Cubase
No worries, any time. I'd be happy to give you some tips over skype or whatever platform is handy.
I'm using PTHD 12(.8 as of Yesterday) on HD native with an SSL delta link and two SSL ALpha links (one in my LR, one in my CR).

Re: switching from PT to Cubase
@ufo.. I'm bumping this to see where you've landed. Are you staying with PT in Windows? I'm curious about what you think about DTouch and the overall touch interface for PT vs Cubase. Ironically, I might move in the other direction (Cubendo to PT).. At least now I can rent PT vanilla for a couple o...

This seems like a good aspect ratio for a touch screen

If this were a touch screen, I could see it even working for DAW use with this curvature.

Re: switching from PT to Cubase
Ok I'm coming across some limitations of DTouch for PT on Windows now. One is that DTouch seems to insist on having the tracklist so narrow that I can hardly read a thing. I think I remember the mac version does that better (I'll check). Also, ironically touch on Mac seems to work better. windows su...

Re: 3M 32" Touch C3266PW -Any Experience ?
The 3M looks cool but very pricy.
I think the 32" Iiyamas go for less than half of that.
I don't have any experience on either of them, so I don't know which ones are best.
