Hello, I Want to configure a button to switch the pre/post fader metering. If I use the PT menu> Menu item:Options>>Mesure des metres en Pre-Fader I obtain the following message: This macro was trying to launch a protools menu wich is not available now... I'm surprised because it clearly in the list...

Hello, I m trying to create this macro but I'm not able to do the \ every keyboard shortcut with special character is not allowed. so I'm trying to do it manually: dtmacro.keyboard_shortcut("CTRL/WIN \") but it returns an error. I m aware python doesn't interpret the backslash. Your advice...

I use a 272hul in 1080p, highest resolution is compatible with dtouch but it to small to use in protools actually.
But I have to send it back to acer (vertical lines everywhere during a 20min warming up time)

Thanks again for taking the time to explain. And it made appear to me that my 'idea' was maybe useful/possible for scrolling the display of the tracks and keep the overlay aligned. But I missed the main part of the challenge: multi touching faders via hui banking...and time-outs and buffers coming w...

thanks Silvano, Yes, im aware of the poor hui implementation in ptools. I have been used to it with hardware controllers (qcon pro + extension). And I figure what the 8 faders banking system is about. (with 16faders qcon, only 1 controller flipped the faders for sends... only 1 controller was displa...

I worked around duplicating and editing the macro:)
But yes, I pressed edit , changed color and saved. But when I saved it returned red.

Sure, There is always a delai with resync in dtouch. or a delai when banking up faders. This delai is more important when playback is running. With hardware, it's faster, almost instant even with cheap HUI controllers and slow motors. And without touch, if I shift-scroll in the mixer, its scrolling ...
