Re: Interesting touchscreen tech at CES 2019

To be clear, this is what I would hope for as a 27" setup, but it's pretty cool that they turned almost exactly the setup I have in mind into a laptop. Maybe they'll consider turning it into a 27" AIO system or creating standalone versions of the ultrawide touchscreen slab if it's successf...

Re: What r you guys doing to DTOUCH!!!!!

Personally I wouldn't expect a big change to DTouch for PT at this point. Sure there's still some improvements to be made, but overal it doesn't seem broken to me and it does what I want it to do. Minor tweaks and added features aside, I think because of the limited possibilities (because of no Euco...

Re: Setting up is hard to do

DTouch for cubase is definitely a less integrated, plug and play solution than DTouch for PT is. It can seem very intimidating and confusing at first. But, the flip-side to that is that it is very powerful and customisable. It has a learning curve and it requires some setup time, getting used to to ...

Ok. Website up 👍

But browser tells me website is not secure. Why?

Bye /Tumppi
I noticed that iOS does this with other websites/forums I visit too after an update.
I never noticed that before. Seems like a new feature of iOS.
Maybe that has something do with it?

Re: iPad Pro 2018

All understood, but as mobile X64 chips have been narrowing the gap between portable and desktop performance, so have have Apple's ARM based chips. What's in the iPad Pro is pretty impressive and for a lot of people will suffice, just like an i5 quad core will suffice. It's not for me either, as a m...

Re: iPad Pro 2018

Of course, you are right in doubting whether any of the known companies wil develop a full DAW for iOS anytime soon.

Wouldn't surprise me if Bitwig goes iPad, of course. If it hasn't already.

Re: iPad Pro 2018

Agreed, even though the iPad Pro is now certainly powerful enough to run a full DAW and lots of plugins, there aren't any major ones yet. I heard there's one, I forgot what it's called. Waves have ported a few plugins to iOS, but only a few. Of course, there are people who make music on an iPad on t...
