DTouch for Cubase+Nuendo v1.4.10 BETA

Post by Support Team » 03 Aug 2018 14:02

A new DTouch for Cubase+Nuendo BETA version is available.
The new version currently is v1.4.10 BETA, and is available for download from our website.

The new features are:
  • Next to each Cue or Send number in the CUES and SENDS Racks, you can now find a "pre/post" string, which informs you about the pre/post fader position of the Cue/Send itself
  • The "Integrated Matrix Mode" on the Floating Mixer (User Guide Chapter 4.8.16) now becomes the "Rack Mode" button, since it now has functionalities for other Racks than the Matrix
  • The "Rack Mode" popup toolbar panel buttons "BYPASS MODE", "0 SET", "-inf SET" now work even on CUES and SENDS Racks
  • The "Rack Mode" popup toolbar panel gains a new "PRE-POST" button, which allows you to change the pre/post fader position of Cue or Send in the CUES, SENDS and MATRIX Racks
  • The Floating Mixer now remembers and restores the last "Rack Mode" which was enabled when it was closed
  • Fixed a bug about a corruption of the file generated during the Import/Export of DTouch settings

try put "sleep" between the first shortcuts
Thanks for your suggestions. I got it to work, but I had to play around with it for a bit. I had to open the channel editor with a key combination. Using the preset key command didn't work. I assigned Alt+shift+E to "edit channel settings for selected" and then triggered it with a key/key combination in Dtouch. I also added a close all channel editor windows command at the end, which might not be ideal for everyone.

I've attached my version here. Add User Defined Plug-In V2.5.dat
We updated the Macro, and posted it here.
Let's keep the discussion about that and other Macros in other threads, please; and focus this discussion on the DTouch for Cubase+Nuendo features/suggestions/bugfixes.

Ok this is getting real good. Thanks for all the suggestions everyone and thx DT support for adding so quickly.

I just did a mix using the new update!

Is there any way, when you only have 1 row of the matrix visible, that the matrix section follow the mixer like the sends and cues do when scrolling.

What about adding "inserts" to the rack?

Thanks again!

But ... the Matrix is disjointed from the mixer; it has no sense that the Matrix follows the Mixer. Or ... I don't understand you.

That's what I thought about the matrix, it is not part of the cubase mixer but the sends, cues, ect are. Thought I'd ask anyways seeing you guys always come up with incredible ideas.

And thanks for thinking on the inserts, that would be the icing on the cake for me.

Have a great vacation! You guys earned it! I'm lucky to get 2 weeks at a time.

OK ... the idea of the Matrix was to have an high channels count overview of the project. It is a very compact version of a mixer. In my honest opinion the larger the Matrix window, the better; as a side note, I don't find very useful the Matrix in the upper section of the floating mixer window, but it is already implemented and you have the option to open and use it or not.
The idea of having the Matrix linked to the mixer is in contrast with its meaning: it would be like having a duplicated view of a mixer. I think that you understand my reasoning.

I'm loving the new floating mixer! I was working on a mix yesterday and I had to do some gain staging. It would be really great if we could have the "pre" section in the floating mixer (filters, gain and polarity). If you can get that and the inserts section to work, I'll be a very happy man.

Enjoy your holiday!

Absolutely understand your reasoning. Guess when I saw the matrix there I was thinking of a new way to utilize it because the only time I use the matrix is in full veiw to get an overview of a mix and do quick adjustments or when a recall is needed for a small adjustment/remix.
I would actually rather have inserts there instead of the matrix, but everyone has different needs and that's what's so great about you guys. You add in what is requested by ALL the users
Thx again and enjoy your holidays!
