Another thing: After closing the plug in GUI you loose again some of the workspace.

But I guess this starts to look more and more like a feature request?

Wait till tomorrow for a new version. Using the current one is not meaningful.

Install the last version of DTouch for Cubendo and test the following macros.
Close FloatMix#1-ChEditor-macroFolder [Cubase].dat
(1.18 KiB) Downloaded 507 times
Close FloatMix#1-ChEditor-macroFolder [Nuendo].dat
(1.18 KiB) Downloaded 474 times
At the moment I am a bit lost. Test these macros and I will check your comments.

We have also updated an old macro (for the interested users) which is not related to the Tumppi issue:
Add user defined Plug-In [Cubase].dat
(3.99 KiB) Downloaded 520 times
Add user defined Plug-In [Nuendo].dat
(3.88 KiB) Downloaded 532 times

Regarding my macro request. Now I have everything to open and close by one button press. This is good.
But: this folders topmost is giving me a headache.
I open my "workspace" with this macro. Then I open a plug in. It goes on top of everything (which is good and just as it should be).
When closing this plug in I loose the floating mixer under project window and have to tap "folders topmost" button and the some visual part of floating mixer to make it come back on top of project window.
--------
Regarding add plug in macro: How do you modify it? To open for example frequency plug in to first free insert slot?
Now it seems to always open the GEO-10 plug to first slot.
And if I have something already on slot one it overrides it and adds GEO-10 to slot one...

Select the first "command" line and clic on "Modify Command" on the new windows you see the name of the plugin (in this macro GE-10) edit the name "et voila" ;)
And if I have something already on slot one it overrides it and adds GEO-10 to slot one...
This is not as intended to work yes it's a bug in the first version it load in the first free insert slot but with te new one it allways load in the first insert slot :( .. A little more work for the Devil team..... ;)

Eh, no, this is not a bug! This is a limitation born with Cubase 9.5, because with it we cannot read the graphics (as explainde somewhere else). So, we cannot know what is the first free slot.

:( :( :( :( no way to have it ?

PS and if you do the macro inside the inspector channel (it's a "fixed place") instead of the channel config ?

OK, it is no easy and there aren't many solutions for this problem.

My suggestion (It could be impossible for you):

- have another regular screen for the Nuendo Project window (do you have one?). Probably this is not mandatory.

- Use the touchscreen for DTouch floating mixer, DTouch macro folders, Nuendo Channel Editor, Nuendo Plug-Ins. I would place all the windows (except the Plug-Ins) in some non-overlapping dedicated zones. Remove the "topmost" settings to the DTouch floating mixer and macro folders. When you will open a Plug-In, its GUI will be over everything else.

- Use a Nuendo "workspace" to move the Project window to/from the touchscreen when it needs to be touched.

The important thing, in my opinion, is to "remove" the Nuendo Project window from the touchscreen otherwise it will mess all the DTouch windows.

Not easy!! You have too many open windows in a too small screen area!
