Peak figures on mixer

First of all I want to congratulate DTouch for this new forum and wish you good luck!
A wishlist can be dangarous - we all will asume that our wishes will be fullfilled immediately! Poor DTouch!

I'm missing the peak figures of the cubase mixer in DTouch. I see the figures of the fader position but I don't need them, I can see the fader position. Is there a way to switch these figures?

BTW: ufo's multitouch gesture suggestions for zooming sounds good!

Hello PeterZ,
maybe that we use a different terminology, but I don't understand you when you speak about "peak figures". Can you help me?

I think he means the same issue I'm having with the DTouch faders in Pro Tools.

In Pro Tools the numbers at the bottom of the fader display two things:

The volume level value, say -4.0
The peak level value , say -6.0

It would be nice if the DTouch faders would allow for both values to be displayed.
I like to be able to see the value at which my fader is set AND the peak value of my channel/track.

At least, I think that's what the original poster means.

Hi Silvano!

If you take a look at the cubase mixer you find two figures below each fader:
below/left: the fader position in DB
below right: the peak hold figure of the track

If you now look at the DT mixer you find only the fader position value in DB.

I'm just missing the other figure, the peak from the tracks output.

Hello Peter,

we will check if we have access to this value. If that is the case, we will offer the option to show it.

Hello,
we are ready to include the "Peak value" in the DTouch for Cubendo GUI, but we have a problem: where can we include this text label? We have no space! Some proposal?

What about as an overlay within the actual meter itself, at the top or bottom? So if it was at the bottom, have it under the "-50-" text. And assuming that most people have their meters set to a cooler colour at the bottom of the scale, maybe have the font in red?
