How about we can have the 'embedded scroll window and floating NavPad independent of eacho ther?

I would like it if I could opperate the scrolling via floating navpad with my left hand and use the embedded navpad in the toolbar for zooming with my right hand. This would require setting them at different settings, which doesn't seem to be currently possible.
Is this possible to do?
