In your opinion, what it is better?
Re: In your opinion, what it is better?
I went for the Iiyama because:
1. I trust them more than Acer (may be BS, but I almost exclusively see iiyama monitors in stores etc)
2. The Acer has that plexiglass 'chin' bezel at the bottom which wastes space and hinders ergonomics. you can remove this, but it will expose some PCB (=not safe)
3. I like the look of the Iiyama better
Of the three I think #2 is the most important.

Thanks for the help
I thought that the bottom of Acer was an advantage to separate it from the table (more comfortable)
but what you say is more of a desirable incon
it is true, Iiyama is more popular in this type of display

Re: In your opinion, what it is better?
For me it's important to not waste any space.
Since the touch screen doesn't replace my keyboard, trackball and trackpad, I want to be able to have those as close as possible to the touch screen. That Plexiglass 'chin' would almost certainly be an obstacle to that. That was my reasoning.
Same thing applies if you would want to 'sink' it into your desk.
All surplus bagage, if you ask me.

We have the Acer T272HL in our office and I can say that the plexiglass part is the ugliest idea in this touchmonitor. I hate it!

Re: In your opinion, what it is better?
Hi there!
I also went with the Iiyama, because I think it's the better product.
Review's on the T2735MSC-B2 are very good and the price is extremely reasonable in my opinion.
However, I must admit that I haven't tried the Acer touchscreen so far. The plexiglass is the dealbreaker for me too, as I will sink the screen into my custom-made desk.
Best regards,
Markus

Markus
thanks for the contribution
In the end, my choice will be the Iiyama
The only advantage was the model resolution HUL but I see that it is also a drawback

...just a heads up: the plexiglass can be easily removed. It's only attached with 3-4 small screws...
Have it installed at one customer of mine that way without any problems...

This is correct, but I must say that, doing it, you very-partially expose a part of the inner electronics of the touchscreen.DAW-Support wrote:...just a heads up: the plexiglass can be easily removed. It's only attached with 3-4 small screws...
